Bellatrix woke up late, the morning of the third of September, and she cursed her roommates for not waking her up in time. She had probably slept through breakfast. Great she thought as she felt her stomach growl. Getting dressed in her uniform, and the first shoes she found, she walked out of her room. Rushing through the halls, she bumped into many people, but she didn’t even look at them. She kept walking with her head held high, and, with a smirk, told them to watch where they were going. She liked to let people know that as a Slytherin pureblood, she had no flaws.
As she reached the Great Hall, she saw her reflection in a mirror, and couldn’t help but stop. Her hair was messy, but like if she had made it that way, and her skirt was too short to be allowed at school, and her knee length black boots were not part of the uniform, but she didn’t care. Her eyes looked dangerous, she had thought that she had put on too much black eyeliner, but she looked good with it. The smirk she had was accentuated by her rose-colored lip-gloss.
Bellatrix walked into the Great Hall; she ran her hands through her hair, making it even messier. She slowly walked up to the Slytherin table. Purebloods should never run, or so her mother had taught her. Without rushing, she sat down. She didn’t even look to see who was next to her as she served herself a bowl of cereal. The rush of being late had affected her appetite a lot. Now she was barely hungry, but she must eat something, lest someone speak to her father about her starving herself. Bellatrix couldn’t have people running their mouths. Its not like she did that. Often. She reached over for a goblet, and once in her hand, it was suddenly filled with orange juice. Smiling, she began to eat.

Narcissa sat down in the Great Hall, and yawned. Her dorm-mates talked all night, and barely let her get enough sleep to wake up in the morning. She was glad that she was able to get enough sleep that she wasn't falling asleep in her breakfast. She was, however, on edge. A sleepy Narcissa wasn't good. Narcissa rested her head on her arm as she picked at her food. Her free hand rubbed her eyes sleepily. She was going to murder her dorm-mates later.
Narcissa twirled her hair around her finger trying to decide if she should finish her food, or just leave the great hall and begin her walk to the Greenhouses. She barely registered someone sitting beside her, as she turned her head in the opposite way to listen to one of her allies talk about their summer. Narcissa's summer wasn't too eventful, but she humored people by listening to them babble. By the time the other girl began talking about a crush she had and wondering what kind of socks he wore, Narcissa had lost interest, and turned off her hearing in a way. She only saw the girl talking, and didn't focus on what she was saying. Narcissa decided to let the girl know that she was ignoring her, by turning away.
Narcissa almost jumped out of her seat when she saw who was sitting next to her. "Bella! You scared me, why didn't you say anything?" Though, probably if Bellatrix had spoken, Narcissa would've fallen out of her seat and hit the floor. She looked her sister over, and envied her beauty. While Narcissa knew herself to be absolutely gorgeous, she knew her sisters were even more so. Especially Bellatrix. Narcissa wished that she had her sister's knack for taking something simple and making something gorgeous out of it.

Bellatrix was eating her breakfast, which consisted of toast and juice, in silence. Her mind lost in the depth of her thoughts. She had been thinking about the Dark Lord, and her desire to join him. Maybe in more ways than one. But she knew better than to think about it. It wasn’t what a young lady of her social stature should think about. And much less of a man as powerful as he, but she couldn’t help it. Bellatrix could pretend she wasn’t influenced by her desires, but it was a lie. She was just as influenced by them as any other girl her age. The only difference was she knew better than to act on her impulses. She had learned to hide them, to bury then deep within her. But she suspected he knew. Why? Well, because of the same reason he always seemed to know everyone’s thoughts. Because he was a legilimens. Bellatrix knew this for a fact. She didn’t know how many other knew, she suspected a few did, but most just imagines it. Either way she knew she should at least try to control her thoughts. She didn’t want him to alienate her because she couldn’t control herself.
Thoughts of the Dark Lord swirled in her head, dragging her deeper and deeper into her obsession. If she was left alone, Ballatrix could spend hours upon hours fantasizing about him. Thinking about their last encounter. About how her heart rate sped up as soon as his eyes fell on her. Whishing he would have reached out for her, touched her in any way. Whishing he would have pulled her close to his body and laid his lips on hers. And just as it was about to happen in her fantasy, she heard someone speak her name. It had happened a few times before, and she had hexed the intruders. But as she turned to face the person who had interrupted her, her glare icy and almost deadly, she recognized the voice. It was Narcissa, her youngest sister. The one closest to Bellatrix, even since before Andromeda showed her true colors as a traitor. She softened her stare, so she no longer glared. “Good morning, Narcissa.” She said, as her mind tried to understand what her sister had said. “I thought you were entertained. I didn’t want to disturb you.” She finally said, smirking slightly at the irony behind her words.

Narcissa loved her sister, thought very highly of her. Bellatrix was the most beautiful person in the world, the most talented, everything. Bellatrix was perfect in Narcissa's eyes. When Bellatrix looked at her, her eyes widened at the glare she recieved. She stifened thinking she had done something wrong. "Good morning, Narcissa." Narcissa slightly frowned at the use of her full nam, but she wouldn't say anything out loud. She cocked her head to the side, trying to figure out exactly what had captured her sister's thoughts. "I thought you were entertanied. I didn't want to disturb you." Narcissa looked at the girl sitting next to her before she turned back to her sister. "As if she could hold my attention for longer than a second. If I had to listen to her babble for another minute, about her stupid crush, I was going to rip her head off. I'm grateful for a distraction." Narcissa adored her followers, but they annoyed her more often than not.
"So, how was your morning dear sister?" She asked, taking a drink. "And let me guess, you were day dreaming about a boy, weren't you?" She smirked at her older sister. If Narcissa loved one thing, it was teasing. She loved teasing her friends when they had something wrong with them, and she loved teasing her sisters about anything she could. Teasing brought her such joy. "Because by the way you glared at me, I could easily tell that you were thinking about someone and it had to be someone important for you to get like this."
